Nigeria, China sign $13.1b railway contract

Lagos - Nigeria has signed a $13.1 billion rail construction project contract with the China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC). The contract, which was signed on Monday, will see CRCC constructing a speed railway with a single track line length of 1385 km and a design speed of 120 Kilometers per hour, reports BusinessDay. No details was, however given when the contract would be executed. The China Railway Construction Corporation is the second-largest state-owned construction enterprise in China.
